Things You Need To Know

All selected applicants will be hunting using crossbows (supplied) in blinds with experienced adult licensed hunting guides. At no time will any hunter be left unsupervised — safety is the absolute first priority.
All hunters are required to have a valid Ohio Hunting License and Ohio Deer Permit. An Apprentice Hunting License can be purchased at retailers (e.g. Walmart) or online at oh.wildlifelicense.com. You also need to purchase an Ohio hunting license and an Either Sex Deer Permit.
If you are selected and cannot afford the license and permit, please notify one of the board members below — special provisions will be made.
Any deer harvested will be processed into hamburger/bologna at no cost to the hunter.
If a youth applicant is selected, notification will be made by one of the Whitetail Heritage of Ohio board members.
